What is a Rizz Score?

Rizz Score rates your side of a flirty chat out of ten. You paste the conversation with You: and Them: labels, choose what you want from it, and get a score, your best line, the line that stalled things, and one line to try next.

It scores craft, meaning how specific, playful and well-timed your messages are, judged against your goal, and it never rates attractiveness. The other person's replies are used as evidence of how your lines landed. Treat the number as a fun, rough guide; the notes on your best and worst lines are the useful part.

Key Features

A Score Out of Ten

One number with one sentence of reasoning. It is quick to read and fun to compare with friends.

Your Best Line and Your Stall

The tool quotes your strongest message and the one that killed momentum, so you can see what to repeat and what to drop.

Judged Against Your Goal

Keep it going, get a date or just flirting. A line that is great for banter can be weak if you want a date.

A Better Next Line

Every score ends with one message you could send now, with no speaker label, ready to copy.

Calibrated Score Bands

The tool is given clear bands, from small-talk loops at 2 to 4 up to accepted invites at 9, so similar chats get similar scores.

Perfect for everyone

  • People curious how their flirting comes across
  • Friends comparing scores on the same chat
  • Daters stuck in a conversation that is going nowhere
  • Anyone wanting a second opinion before a big text

How to Use the Rizz Score

Four steps to your rizz score.

1

Paste the Chat

Copy the conversation with You: before your lines and Them: before theirs. The labels matter, because only your lines are scored.

2

Pick Your Goal

Choose keep it going, get a date or just flirting. The score changes with the goal, so pick the one you actually want.

3

Read the Four Sections

You get a score, your best line with why it worked, the stall with why it stalled, and a line to try next.

4

Send the Better Line

Copy the suggested line if it fits, adjust it to sound like you, and send it in your app. Then try a rescore later on.

Score bands

What different rizz scores usually mean

The tool is calibrated so similar chats get similar scores. These bands explain what typically earns each range.

01 / 2

2 to 4: Small talk on repeat

One-word answers and 'how are you' loops. Polite, but nothing for the other person to grab.

“You: good / You: cool / You: nothing much”

02 / 3

3 to 5: Trying too hard

Long, over-apologetic messages full of 'no pressure'. Even if they reply politely, the line reads as anxious.

“You: sorry to bother you, just wanted to say hi if that's okay”

03 / 5

5 to 6: Nice but safe

Friendly replies that keep things moving but add no spark. The chat survives but does not heat up.

“You: haha that's funny, what else do you like?”

04 / 7

7 to 8: Real banter

Specific, playful lines that get engaged replies. The conversation has a rhythm and a running joke.

“You: I'm a 10 but I narrate the movies”

05 / 9

9: Clear invite that lands

A specific plan with a time, accepted with enthusiasm, sits in the top band when your goal is a date.

“You: then we need a tasting to settle it. Saturday?”

06 / THE

The ignored question

You asked something and they answered something else. The stall is usually your next line, not theirs.

“You asked about their weekend; they changed the subject”

07 / THE

The joke that fell flat

A bit that got 'haha' and nothing more. It does not ruin the score, but it often shows up as the stall.

“Them: haha”

08 / THE

The fast escalation

Jumping to heavy flirting before the chat is warm usually scores lower. Match their energy first.

“Message three: very forward compliment”

09 / THE

The great comeback

Answering their tease with a better tease is one of the most reliable ways to score high.

“Them: I'm a 10 but I hate pineapple on pizza”

10 / THE

The double question

Asking two or three questions in one message can feel like an interview and often lowers the score slightly.

“You: how was work? what did you eat? any plans?”

11 / THE

The callback

Bringing back an earlier joke shows you remember and enjoy the chat. Callbacks often appear as the best move.

“You: still standing by your hot dog taco theory?”

12 / THE

The late-night spiral

Several unanswered messages in a row tend to land as the stall, whatever they say.

“You sent three texts with no reply between them”

Six chats we scored, and the score lines that came back

We scored six test chats. Reveal a row for the score line from the tool's first response, unedited. Note the 7/10 for an over-apologetic opener; the tool can be generous, so read the notes, not just the number.

REF_0014/10

“Keep it going · You: hey / Them: hey / You: how are you / Them: good u / You: good”

REF_0029/10

“Get a date · You: your bio says you rank dumplings… / You: then we need a tasting to settle it. Saturday? / Them: ok you are on”

REF_0047/10 · generous

REF_0054/10

“Get a date · Them: what are you up to this weekend / You: nothing much / Them: same / You: cool”

REF_0067/10

“Just flirting · You: settle a debate. is a hot dog a sandwich / Them: a taco obviously”

Who Uses the Rizz Score?

A rizz score is part game, part honest feedback.

Rizz Score Test With Friends

Everyone pastes a chat and compares numbers. It is a fun group game that also shows whose lines actually work.

Diagnosing a Stalled Chat

The conversation went quiet and you do not know why. The stall section points at the line that likely killed momentum.

Before Asking Someone Out

Set the goal to get a date and see whether the chat is ready. A low score suggests building more banter first.

Learning What Works for You

Score several chats over a week and look at your best lines. Patterns show you which style of humour lands.

Checking a Friend's Texts

A friend asks if they are coming on too strong. The score and notes give a neutral second opinion.

Score yourself

How to judge your own rizz

The tool looks for the same things a good friend would. Use these checks on any chat.

P01

Specificity

Lines that mention something they said score higher than generic replies. Specific shows you are listening.

'Rank dumplings' vs 'cool'

P02

Playfulness

A tease, a running joke or a game raises the energy. Flat agreement lowers it.

'I'm a 10 but I narrate them'

P03

Confidence

Clear statements beat apologetic hedges. 'No pressure at all' often reads as pressure.

Drop the 'if that's okay'

P04

Direction

Good rizz eventually goes somewhere, like a plan. Endless banter with no move scores lower when your goal is a date.

'Saturday?'

P05

Timing

Replying at a natural pace and not stacking messages keeps the energy balanced. Three texts in a row can outweigh a great line.

One message, then wait

P06

Matching energy

Mirror the length and tone they use. Long replies to their short messages often read as too keen.

Short reply to a short message

Improve the score

Three moves that lift most chats

  1. 1

    Answer, then add

Reply to their message, then add one thing of your own. That alone fixes most one-word loops.

  2. 2

    Build a running joke

When something gets a laugh, return to it later. Callbacks are a classic sign of good chemistry.

  3. 3

    Make the move

When banter is flowing, suggest a specific plan. A good invite is the highest-scoring line in most chats.

The score is for fun. What matters is whether they want to keep talking to you.

Tips for Best Results

What we learned scoring six test chats.

Tip 01

Do Not Trust the Number Alone

Our over-apologetic opener scored 7/10 even though the rules say it should score lower. Read the best line and stall notes for the real feedback.

Tip 02

Clear Invites Score Highest

Our only 9/10 was a specific dumpling-tasting invite that got a yes. If your goal is a date, a concrete plan beats more banter.

Tip 03

One-Word Loops Score Low

Both chats full of 'good', 'cool' and 'nothing much' scored 4. Those replies are the quickest thing to fix.

Tip 04

Label Every Line

Early versions of the tool quoted the other person's line as your stall. Clear You: and Them: labels keep the scoring on your side.

Tip 05

Change the Goal and Compare

The same chat can score differently for keep it going and get a date. Running both shows what the chat needs next.

Tip 06

Use Try Next as a Draft

The suggested line is a starting point. Our taco-debate test suggested a 'favorite snack' line you may want to tone down.
