What is a Bingo Card Generator?

This bingo card generator makes printable cards from any list of words, names or phrases, or classic 75-ball number cards with B 1–15 through O 61–75. Each card is shuffled differently and checked against the others, and a caller’s list in random order prints after the cards.

Grids run from 3 by 3 for young children to 10 by 10 for long games, with a free centre square on odd sizes. Print one, two or four cards to a page on Letter or A4. Every card carries a small number, so you can check a winning card against the card list in seconds.

Key Features

Your Own Words

Vocabulary, names, songs or party moments, one per line.

75-Ball Numbers

Classic cards with each column drawn from its own range.

No Repeated Cards

Each card is a fresh shuffle, checked against every earlier card.

Caller’s List

A shuffled calling order prints after the cards.

Repeatable Deals

The same list always deals the same cards; change the seed for new ones.

Perfect for everyone

  • Teachers
  • Party hosts
  • Event planners
  • Community halls
  • Care homes and families

How to Use the Bingo Card Generator

Write your words one per line, or switch the game to numbers. Choose the grid size and how many cards you need, and the sheets redraw as you go, so you can see every card before printing a whole class set or a fundraiser’s worth of cards.

1

Write the Words

One word or phrase per line, or pick numbers 1–75.

2

Pick the Grid

5 by 5 is classic; 3 by 3 suits young players.

3

Set the Count

One card per player, and two or four to a page to save paper.

4

Print and Play

Download the PDF, then call from the caller’s list.

Worked Examples

Bingo Decks, Dealt

Each row is a game set up the way people run them in classrooms, at parties and in community halls, including a few that go wrong. Each answer is this tool’s check, its card-by-card rows or its calling order.

Grid Sizes

Choosing a Grid Size

The grid decides how long a game lasts and how many words the list needs. Smaller grids finish fast and suit young players; bigger grids make long games for adults. With a free centre, an odd grid needs one word fewer than its cell count.

01 / 3

3 by 3

9 cells, or 8 words with the free centre; quick rounds for preschool.

“How many words fill a 3 by 3 with a free space?”

02 / 4

4 by 4

16 cells and no centre, so no free space; good for ages five to seven.

“Does a 4 by 4 card have a free space?”

03 / 5

5 by 5

The classic: 24 words around a free centre.

“How many words for a classic card?”

04 / 75BALL

75-ball

5 by 5 numbers, B 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60 and O 61–75.

“Which column holds 50?”

05 / 7

7 by 7

48 words around the centre, for longer adult games.

“How many words does 7 by 7 need?”

06 / 10

10 by 10

100 cells and no centre, for marathon games and big word lists.

“How many cells on a 10 by 10?”

Bingo Settings

Settings go at the top as a name, a colon and a value, above the word list, and the menus write those lines for you. These are the ones the menus don’t cover, plus the options that change how cards are dealt.

title

A heading on every card, such as title: Science Week Bingo.

seed

Any word or number; change it to deal a completely new set of cards.

shuffle

off prints the words in your order, for a single fixed card.

cards

From 1 to 100 cards, one for each player.

type

words for your own list, numbers for 75-ball cards.

Running the Game

A smooth game comes down to the caller. These habits keep a room playing fairly and make it easy to settle who really won, whether that’s a class of thirty or a hall of a hundred.

Tip 01

Call in Order

Read down the caller’s list and tick each word as you go.

Tip 02

Agree the Pattern

Decide before starting whether a line, four corners or a full card wins.

Tip 03

Check by Number

Ask for the card number and compare it with the Cards view.

Tip 04

Pace the Calls

Leave a few seconds between calls so younger players keep up.

Tip 05

Keep Spare Cards

Print a few more than you need for late arrivals.

Where Bingo Works

Bingo turns any list into a game everyone can join at once, which is why it shows up in classrooms, at showers and in fundraisers alike.

Classroom Vocabulary

Call a definition and students mark the word.

Baby and Bridal Showers

Guests mark gifts as they’re opened.

Fundraisers

Classic 75-ball cards for a hall or church night.

Team Icebreakers

Fill cards with facts about colleagues.

Care Homes

Large print 3 by 3 or 4 by 4 cards, one per page.

Music Bingo

Song titles as words, called as the tracks play.

Bingo Card Pitfalls

The mistakes that spoil a round, and the settings that prevent them before you print.

Tip 01

Too Few Words

A bank the exact size of the card gives everyone the same words.

Tip 02

Shuffle Off

Every card prints identical, so everybody wins together.

Tip 03

Long Phrases

Long entries shrink the text on every card; keep them short.

Tip 04

Lost Calls

Without the caller’s list, it’s hard to prove a winning card.

Tip 05

Non-Latin Scripts

The PDF font can’t draw Greek, Cyrillic or Asian words.
